Color Guard

Since early history flags and banners have been used by armies in battle. They served several purposes in addition to being symbols of the unit. To protect the flags, a detachment of soldiers was assigned to carry and guard them.

Being a member of the WVA 48 Color Guard is considered an honor because these women present, carry and guard the symbols of our Country and our State.
